Are you the Dad of a Great Student? Then sign up to be a Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer!
Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a program designed to increase the male presence in our schools by inviting fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father figures to volunteer at least one day at their child's school during the year.
Volunteers typically arrive at the beginning of the school day, so they can help with the arrival of students and be introduced with their Springer on our morning announcements. Over the course of the day, Watch DOGS may perform a variety of tasks including, patrolling the hallways and exterior of the school, assisting students in the cafeteria, and helping out in the classroom or resource areas. While we hope that our Watch DOGS can spend the entire day at school; they are also welcome to volunteer for only half of the day.
Please remember that all volunteers must have a Henrico County Volunteer Form on file before coming in to volunteer. If you need a copy of this form, or have any other questions about becoming a Watch DOG volunteer, please contact Dick Fulmer at email@example.com.
